When did the kids start saying every single thing “is everything”? Not everything can be everything but, I’ve got something for you. Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie at Feinstein’s/54 Below this month. They’re back by popular demand celebrating Stephen Sondheim and Marvin Hamlisch. They’ll be doing everything from A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Follies, A Little Night Music, and They’re Playing Our Song to a few from the films: The Way We Were, Ice Castles, and The Entertainer.
Let’s be clear here, McArdle and McKechnie still got it and you need to go see it.
That’s what I love about an evening at 54 Below. They have a real knack for lining up a who’s who of well-known and soon-to-be-well-known talent. And, if you ask me, in that intimate of a space it’s a better experience than many of the Broadway houses. It’s got…everything.
